1. acceptance of terms

by downloading or using the myruel app (“app”), you agree to these terms of use (“terms”). if you do not agree, do not use the app. reuel, llc (“we,” “us,” or “our”) may update these terms at any time. continued use means you accept the updated terms.

2. what myruel offers

myruel is a voice journaling and wellness app that includes:

  • voice journaling with ai-powered transcription
  • ai extraction of diary entries, actions, events, and habits
  • customizable vision boards
  • daily affirmations (with optional faith-based affirmations)
  • legacy period and cycle tracking tools (for users on older versions)

3. data storage and subscriptions

myruel uses a hybrid offline-first and cloud-sync model:

  • your journal streams, ai cues, and affirmations are synced securely to our servers so you can access them seamlessly across devices.
  • the app relies on secure external ai APIs (like google gemini) to transcribe audio. your audio is never used to train ai models.
  • certain features, like unlimited voice transcription minutes or advanced ai cues, may require an active premium subscription.

4. eligibility

you must be 16 years of age or older to use myruel. we may restrict access if you do not meet this requirement.

5. user accounts

you are responsible for:

  • keeping your login credentials secure (email, apple sign-in, or google sign-in).
  • all activity that occurs under your account.

6. user content ownership

all content you create inside myruel—including:

  • voice journal audio and transcripts
  • extracted actions, habits, and events
  • vision board images
  • affirmations

belongs fully to you. we claim no ownership over your personal thoughts or the data you enter.

7. faith-based content

a portion of the affirmations in the app includes christian faith-based affirmations. these are optional, clearly labeled, and do not affect the use of other features.

8. not medical, legal, or professional advice

myruel provides tools for reflection and organization but is not a medical, mental health, or therapy service.

  • voice journaling and affirmations do not replace professional counseling or medical treatment.
  • any legacy period tracker features are for informational purposes only and should not be used as birth control or medical diagnosis.

9. prohibited activities

you agree not to:

  • copy, reverse-engineer, modify, or distribute the app
  • upload illegal, harmful, or abusive content
  • interfere with functionality or security of the app or its ai services
  • use the app for any unlawful purpose

10. intellectual property

all designs, ui components, branding, graphics, features, and the myruel name belong to reuel, llc. you may not reuse or resell any intellectual property without permission.

11. disclaimer of warranties

myruel is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. we do not guarantee:

  • error-free operation of the app or ai transcription
  • 100% accurate ai extraction of tasks and events
  • continuous access without downtime

use of the app is at your own risk.

12. limitation of liability

to the extent permitted by law, reuel, llc is not liable for:

  • loss of data due to syncing errors or account deletion
  • inaccuracies in ai transcriptions or cues
  • consequences of reliance on wellness or affirmation content
  • any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

13. termination

we may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these terms. you may stop using the app at any time by deleting your account.

14. governing law

these terms are governed by the laws of delaware, usa, where reuel, llc is incorporated.
